About Us

About Waterford MBN

The Waterford Micro Business Network (MBN) was established in 2005 by Waterford Area Partnership to assist people who are setting up their own business. Support to the network is provided through the Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP) which targets employment and self-employment supports to unemployed and disadvantaged individuals.

For many traders the transition to working on their own can be an isolating one and also very stressful. Joining the MBN network can help you to overcome these obstacles and assist you in developing your business. The network shares a common vision which supports and encourages Entrepreneurs at various stages of development.

Local Business Owners

Local business owners play a crucial role in the success of the Waterford Micro Business Network by organising, marketing and supporting events for the Waterford Micro Business Committee. Their contributions go beyond business support and extend to expertise, community connections, and a shared commitment. They believe the power of networking and building strong connections with others in business to achieve success and foster growth.
